Last month, we learned that the project’s release date might be somewhere around early 2023. However, it is now reported that Western players won’t have to wait for long to enjoy the crossover after all, as the time difference between the Korean and Western versions of Lost Ark has been reduced since the crossover’s launch in Korea last week. The Lost Ark website just announced that the game would be available in January. There will be a free crossover event for a brief time during which players can explore a new island, the Havre du Loup Blanc. After a vortex appears in the area, you’ll be able to work with recognizable characters from the Witcher saga like Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, Triss Merigold, Dandelion, and even Ciri. However, in addition to the standard mission that must be completed, this event will also provide you the opportunity to regain scars and other goods that can be used to customize objects in-game. Earlier, there have been some screenshots from the Korean version that have been shared on Reddit. These screenshots show (spoilers) Ciri, the back of Geralt being approached by a player, and a very recognizable wolf emblem. We will keep you updated on any news as it comes in, even though the game is still a month away. Be sure to check out the massive changes coming to The Witcher in the next-gen update that will be released later this month.
