The cost of current-generation graphics cards is expected to become more aggressive, according to reports that have surfaced in recent weeks from NVIDIA, AMD, and its partners. Along with a sharp decrease in pricing, the crypto crisis has also led to a significant decline in demand due to a decline in the general consumer market (PC). While it appears that price reductions have brought GPU prices below 90% of MSRP, this may be the last attempt to clear out all remaining graphics card inventory. The AMD Radeon RX 6000 series is now priced at 84% less than its MSRP, while the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series is currently priced on average 87% less than its MSRP. Given that we are getting closer to the release of the next-generation graphics cards, it is probable that the decreasing pricing trend for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards won’t end here.
