Intel CoreT i9-13900HK

Interestingly, both benchmarks have the same source being tagged as ‘SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. 960XFH’. It appears Samsung is already testing the Raptor Lake platform. The i9-13900HK ships with 14 cores, 20 threads which is similar to last-gen’s 12900HK. In addition, as pointed out by Videocardz the L2 cache per core stands at just 1.25MB (Alder Lake) which is 0.75MB less than all other Raptor Lake chips.  The test bench for this CPU features 32GB of RAM on the Windows 11 OS.  As for the performance, the CPU scores 1817 points and 11799 points in the single and multi core test respectively. This is lower than expected. However since these are very early test samples, we cannot say much.

Intel CoreT i7-13700H

After that we have the i7-13700H. This CPU is packed with 14 cores / 20 threads similar to its predecessor. The test bench features 16GB of RAM paired with an unknown laptop running the Windows 11 OS. The CPU scores 1768 points in the single core test, and stands at 10796 points in the multi-core testing. To put that into perspective, we’re seeing slower performance than even last generation. Maybe these CPUs are thermal throttled, only time will tell.

Conclusion

This is not the first time we’ve seen a mobile CPU from Raptor Lake show up in early testing. The i7-13700T was tested a while back and was on-par with the 12900K. Team blue is aiming at the Innovation Event planned today to unveil their next-gen Raptor Lake CPUs.
