  1. First, open Outlook on your PC or computer.
  2. Click the File tab.
  3. Choose Options from the left pane.
  4. Click the Advanced option and select AutoArchive.
  5. Tap the AutoArchive Settings button.
  6. Select the Run AutoArchive every option and choose when the feature should run in your Outlook.
  7. Choose when an email should be archived in the Default folder settings for archiving section.
  8. If you don’t want to save the archived files on the PST directory, tap Browse and select the folder to save the archived emails.
