Cd Projeckt Red Announces A Remake Of The Original Witcher Game Using Unreal Engine 5

Thankfully, CD PROJEKT RED just announced a remake of the first Witcher game. CD PROJEKT RED has outsourced the game’s development to Polish studio, Fool’s Theory. According to the announcement blogpost, the game will be developed from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5. For those unaware, even the next Witcher game (namely Witcher 4) will be developed using the Unreal Engine 5.  – Announcement Blogpost  The announcement blogpost doesn’t delve into any more details, including the scope of the remake and even the expected release date.
